This mural and sculpture project was the brain child of Bridget Duffy and Mark Fenton and took over a month of work at Superior Backings in Hollywood. Matthew Huchthausen and more than a half dozen other artists and sculptors worked at two different shops to realize the concept. When all said and done, the entire casino was blown up after a few short years to build Planet Hollywood in it's place!
This is paint frame #5 at Grosh Scenic Rentals where this backdrop was too large to be fully photographed during the painting process!
The unfinished sandy circle indicates the mounting position for one of three pegasus sculptures, to leap out of the mural.
