The X-Files Backdrops
These backdrops had translucent elements so they could be lit from behind to make their light sources appear to glow. Each backdrop was a week in the making and were produced on set during filming at FOX Studios, by Matthew Huchthausen.

This Backdrop was placed at an angle high above a water tank in an ethereal under water scene.

This corridor backdrop was placed on set behind hospital double doors.
